📍Easter Island

Rapa Nui, where the landscape tells as much of the story as the moai. 🗿🌊

Rolling green fields, grazing horses, volcanic cliffs, and the Pacific stretching endlessly beyond a line of ancient figures.

📍Ketchikan, Alaska

Tiny orca, big personality. 🐋💦

Near Ketchikan, this little one kept popping up beside the pod, splashing, rolling, and making sure nobody on our boat missed the show.

The adults were impressive, of course, but the baby absolutely stole the moment.

📍Hubbard Glacier, Alaska

Morning at Hubbard Glacier. 🧊🌫️

We arrived with the mountains half hidden behind low clouds and the glacier glowing blue beneath them.

At first, everything felt almost still. Ice drifted across the water, fog wrapped around the peaks, and Hubbard stretched across the horizon layer after layer after layer.

Then, little by little, the clouds began to shift and the scale of what was in front of us started to sink in.

Some places announce themselves loudly. Hubbard Glacier made us slow down, watch, and wait for the landscape to reveal itself.

One of my favorite mornings in Alaska. 💙

📍 Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts

The colors of Aquinnah. 🌊🧡

The Aquinnah Cliffs are one of the most iconic views on Martha’s Vineyard, with layers of colorful clay meeting the Atlantic and Gay Head Light standing watch above it all.

It is one of those places where the landscape feels both dramatic and completely timeless.

📍Easter Island

Standing watch on Rapa Nui. 🗿🌿

Seeing the moai lined up on their stone platform is one of those moments that makes the history of Easter Island feel very real.

Carved by the Rapa Nui people centuries ago, these figures were created to honor important ancestors and were placed on ceremonial platforms called ahu.

Quiet, powerful, and unforgettable.

📍Bove Island | Yukon Territory, Canada

One of those roadside views that makes you forget you were actually trying to get somewhere. 💙🏔️

Bove Island, sitting in the Windy Arm of Tagish Lake, was one of my favorite stops on the drive from Skagway to Carcross. Turquoise water, huge mountain views, and that wonderfully remote Yukon feeling.

Definitely worth pulling over for.

These red and golden tulips were catching the spring light in the best possible way. Bright, bold, and definitely not interested in blending in.
Skagit Valley really knows how to do color.

📍Ketchikan, Alaska

Three dorsal fins breaking the surface, a forest stretching down to the shoreline, and suddenly the whole view had my attention.

Watching these orcas near Ketchikan, Alaska, I found myself looking ahead of every ripple, wondering where they’d surface next. That’s the part a photograph can’t quite hold—the anticipation between one glimpse and the next.
