This is one of the hottest times of the year, and we LOVE shooting during golden hour, but blue hour doesn’t get nearly enough love.

It’s that little window right after the sun goes down when the sky starts turning those really pretty shades of blue, pink and purple, the light gets softer, and everything just has a completely different feel.

When it’s 95 degrees outside, waiting until the sun goes down isn’t a bad idea either. 😂 So, don’t feel like everything has to happen at golden hour.

Blue hour can be pretty beautiful too. 💙📸

First stop today, wrapped! 📸🏈📣

We just finished up youth sports makeup day! A handful of kids missed us the first time around, so today we got to make sure they had their turn in front of the camera too.

This is our first year photographing Wills Point Youth Association football and cheer, and we’re pretty dang proud they chose White Bear to capture their kids this season.

We live here. We work here. We’ve raised our family here. So getting to be a small part of the things happening in our own community means a little more to us.

It isn't the flowers or the dress or the timeline. It's the way everyone loosens up as the afternoon goes on. It's parents standing off to the side, watching, quietly wrecked. It's the hug that goes a beat too long. It's a person carrying the people who couldn't be there, tucked right in beside the bouquet.

It's joy and ache sitting down at the same table, and everybody choosing joy.

This day had all of it. And here's the thing about that feeling... it doesn't stay. It fills the whole place up and then it goes, and a year from now nobody will remember what time dinner started. They'll remember how it felt.

So you hold onto what you can. You look a little longer. You don't look away.

What a day. 🤍

Cheer captain, senior year star, and a light wherever she goes.

So grateful we got to capture this season of her story and just know wherever God leads her she’s going to shine bright in the next chapter.
