One of my most favorite families. This is a beautiful story of God's redemption. Mom almost lost her life almost two years ago and lost her first baby. This little guy is a miracle to one of my favorite couples that I love and adore so much. It is a beautiful story of love, faith, strength, perseverance, and trust in God. Such a quick little shoot but I love everything about it and the love that it shows for this little guy.❤

What a true honor! This just came out. The story behind the image I created this year that won two perfect 100s and is up for a GIA at Imaging and 1st place at WPPI in Portrait Category.

What a hard time of year for me personally. This was just sent to me and I just read it for the first time and I can't stop the tears. It was written from a verbal interview for winning this award this year.

My mom will have been gone for 15 years in less than a month and all I can do is think of her with every red, orange and yellow leaf I stared at outside the ICU room.

David Edmonson.... thank you! Thank you for helping me learn to share my heart.

My FAVORITE post EVER! MY HEART!!! XOXOXO

I could not post this image before Christmas due to I took this image in secret from the parents when taking care of my grand baby while they were out of town. I surprised them Christmas morning with this printed very large and framed beautiful in a Baroque frame . I even had a name plate made with her name and year.

I was so excited by their reaction and my heart melted.

My heart was on that Canvas... Emery is in her Christening gown and sitting in Rolf's baby rocking chair that is over 50 years old.

The day she was dedicated to the Lord is the most precious day in her life. Surrounded by the entire family and her great grandfather (actually both) praying over her. It was priceless. She is close or around 5 months here.

I couldn't love this little one more or be more proud to be her grandmother. To think, how loved she is... and I wink to know there is part of me in her. :)

What greater privilege than to get to photograph your grand child? Amazing love! No props, just those eyes looking into mine! I think she loves her grandmother! :)

I am having a hard time with words...
Have you ever looked at an image and it just grabbed your heart and soul and tore it apart?

Life sometimes is all about "HOLDING ON".

When I took this image, little did I know that my dearest friend Hollen Meyer was with child.
The child that she has been praying for, dreaming of and yearning for.
This child went straight into the arms of Jesus and Hollen almost followed too.
Her life is a miracle that she is with us. Life is so delicate and we hold on to so many things that we have to turn into the arms of God.
This was just a moment in time that I caught, but it will forever be in my mind of how deep a mother holds on to her dream.
So many of us have been in this place and have lost our way and have to fight our way back.
Hollen is a warrior! She is a witness and testimony to us all.
The void will always be there, but God renews our strength with wings of eagles and we will HOLD ON to the promises He gives us.
Hollen Meyer, you are a witness to us all. His light shines in you, His armor is your strength.

Holding On
