Majority of these platforms, the thing they all have in common is the fact that they support short form video.

So when you make a short form video, you now have the ability to show up on a majority of the platforms. LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts. Just from one single post.

This helps you become more discoverable.

This helps your business, your products, your programs become more discoverable.

So let’s say on one platform you post and it doesn’t do so well. On the other ones, it may take off or gain more traction because it may be a different audience, different support, or etc.

But you’re limiting yourself when you don’t do this.

I’m currently doing strategy calls for the entrepreneur that is stuck and don’t know what to post about to attract clients.

They need help expanding their revenue potential.

You’re marketing your business on social media and it feels like it’s not doing anything.
Reach looks low. No one’s interacting.

I know this feeling too well — I currently have about 200 followers on Instagram. Low everywhere.

But here’s what I put into practice.

When I make my content specific — when I call out the right people — and someone likes or comments, I take that conversation to the DM.

Not to pitch. To get context.

“Thanks for engaging. What caught your attention? Was this relevant to you?”

Because I want to know — is this something they’re currently dealing with? Is this something they need solved?

Or in my case, handled for them — so they don’t have to put in the effort and they get their time back to focus on what actually matters.

The follower count doesn’t matter.

The real question is — how are you engaging with the people already interacting with your content? How are you building community? How are you making them feel seen, heard, and safe?

Find the conversations that are already happening.

Then step into them.

Now here’s where most people mess up…

They talk about random trending topics…
but it has nothing to do with what they offer.

So yeah, they get attention…
just not from people who are trying to buy.

You want alignment.

Take what people care about…
and connect it back to your offer.

Now you’re not just getting views…
you’re attracting the right people.

A simple way to think about it…

Your content is the bait.

If you use the wrong bait… you attract the wrong crowd.

But when you speak directly to what your ideal person is already thinking about…
they’re naturally pulled in.

I wish it worked like that.

It can help… but that’s not what actually gets you paid.

Because you can have a video do numbers…
and still not make a single sale.

Why?

Because it’s not about views.
It’s about alignment.

When your content is centered around your offer…
and it’s speaking directly to what your person is dealing with…

Their problems.
Their frustrations.
What they actually want.

That’s when things start to click.

They feel understood.
They see themselves in what you’re saying.
They start to trust you.

And trust is what leads to money.

Not virality.

So instead of chasing views…
focus on being clear.

Who are you talking to?
What do they want?
What are they struggling with right now?

When your content answers that…
you don’t need to go viral.
