Over the years, I’ve come to realize that the people you surround yourself with on your wedding day are truly so important. You’ll probably forget the way your food tasted or that you got in your dress 15 minutes late, and the things that go wrong can one day be something you laugh about years down the road. But the people who you choose to be with you will be apart of the memories that last a lifetime. Moments like Grandma coming to snag a photo of you on her phone during couples portraits, who you choose to walk you down the aisle, your groomsmen sneaking a glance from afar during your first look, your loved ones rushing to celebrate you post-ceremony, your mom’s reaction to your first dance with your dad, every glance, laugh, and kiss between you and your spouse, the celebration of who’s last standing during an anniversary dance, and all the fun reception dance moves to follow. These are the moments you get to cherish and carry with you forever. These are the stories that will be told for generations.

Things have been a bit quiet here the last few months. What started out as an unintentional social media hiatus in the busyness of life became a season of refining the vision for By Hailey Nicole. In the midst of rediscovering the passion for my craft, I have been consistently reminded of what truly matters. That satisfaction in life doesn’t come from status or material items or how “far along” we think we should be, but instead the joy of experiencing what is placed in our life here and now. The people we meet, the places we see, the challenges and experiences in front of us - all of it shaping the story of our lives.

Through By Hailey Nicole, I have the privilege of documenting these very memories for you, and that’s not an opportunity I take lightly. It is a gift to come alongside you in moments big and small to give you something you can cherish for years to come.

Mikey and Shelbi were such a joy to capture. Their trust - even when it meant barefoot frolicking through the tall grass - let their love unfold naturally in front of the camera. Soft, sweet, and entirely themselves.

Brian and Sarah’s Cozumel wedding iconic from start to finish. It was dripping in tropical luxe and elevated fashion detail - and with Sarah being an expert in outfit design, I would expect nothing less.

From statement heels to a red veil paired with an after-party look that stole the show, every inch of this celebration felt intentional, editorial, and effortlessly bold. A love story styled to perfection and told frame by frame.

There’s something so special about the time before the vows on a wedding day. The last time a bride gets ready as a miss, surrounded by the girls who’ve seen every season before this one.

The laughter, the nerves, the slow sips of coffee or champagne between makeup brushes and memory-sharing — it’s a soft kind of goodbye to the life she’s known, and the most beautiful beginning of something new.
