I went out tonight hoping to catch a lightning photo but instead got this behemoth pancake shelf cloud!

Did YOU see it?

I was on the phone with Lacey’s Weather Hub and chatting with Damon's Droneography, Kody's Drone World, Jessica Dossey Photography and The Drone Jedi when I snagged this.

This flight was conducted in Class G airspace - anti collision lighting was affixed to my UAS. Altitude 250' AGL - I maintained VLOS with the UAS through the sun roof of my truck.

There was a beautiful sunset over the Choctaw complex and Buffalo Mountain this evening.

Remember what these spots used to look like? 🤔

Now that construction on this phase of the Choctaw complex is done, we wanted to share a look at how much things have changed!

🏢 Out with the old, in with the new:
The old Alco building has been remodeled into the new Choctaw Optometrist office and the Health Clinic (formerly next to the Community Center), with what looks like a warehouse space in the back.

🏋️‍♂️ A total upgrade:
Right next door, where the grocery store once stood, there’s now a beautiful, brand-new Choctaw Fitness Center!
