Hey friends, it’s been a while!! In case you’re new here, my name is Monica and I’m a Personal Brand Photographer 👋
That’s right! If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I used to be a portrait photographer, but decided to take a break from that and then pivoted to this new genre & style that you’ll start seeing more of.
Being a solopreneur for several years now, I’ve felt the hardships that can come from starting your own business, BUT also developed such a passion for it and all the ways in which it pushes you to grow. (Can I get an amen?! 🙌)
And this is how I fell in love with brand photography, this special way I can support fellow women entrepreneurs in their journey, by taking photos of them that they can proudly share online with their audience. Photos that will help them attract the right clients authentically, by sharing more of themselves!!

I couldn’t be more excited about it being FALL, even though it’s still 90 degrees out here in Texas, there’s definitely a great feeling about it. LEGACY “My mother taught me the importance not just of being seen but of seeing myself. As the mother of two girls, it’s important to me that they see themselves too- in books, films, and on runways. It’s important to me that they see themselves as CEOs, as bosses, and that they know they can write the script for their own lives- that they can speak their minds and they have no ceiling. They don’t have to be politically correct, as long as they’re authentic, respectful, compassionate, and empathetic. They can explore religion, fall in love with any race, and love who they want to love.”
- Beyoncé in Vogue this month, I loove the beautiful celebration of diversity in age, race, skin color, global fashion in this issue and her words about Legacy. We deserve to see ourselves and we are worthy of being seen, in our homes, relationships, in the workplace, and in media 🙌 and you can empower those around you to do the same!
