If ever there was a session that played out like a living testimony, it was theirs. We rescheduled this shoot no less than *five* times over the course of just a few months. Five delays. Five interruptions. Five moments where it would've been so easy to throw up our hands and say, “Maybe this just isn’t meant to happen.”

But isn’t that so often the rhythm of our walk with God?

We make plans. We get excited. We set our expectations… and then life hits the brakes. Suddenly we’re staring at another setback, asking ourselves all the why’s and how’s, trying to make sense of it. And all the while, the Lord—so patient, so steady—is whispering, *“Trust in my timing”*

That’s what made photographing Tyler and Casandra so special. Their family carries a quiet strength, a faith that has clearly been forged through delays, detours, and God-orchestrated timing. I truly believe the Lord is speaking to them, shaping them, and using their story as a light to others. Standing behind the camera, witnessing even a *slice* of that, was an honor I don’t take lightly.

This session reminded me that God shows up not just in the big victorious moments, but in the waiting… in the rescheduling… in the “not yet.” And He turns every interruption into an invitation to trust Him deeper.

It’s been a while since I’ve held my camera in my hands, and for a time, I thought that chapter had closed. But lately, God’s been gently reminding me of why I started in the first place — to capture the beauty He’s placed in every life and every season. 📷
