Same girl, new last name, and a whole lot more to share.

Hi friends! Since I have a new last name, it felt like the perfect time to properly reintroduce myself.

I’m Kelsey Myers, a photographer based in Crowley, Louisiana. I’m married to my amazing husband Chris, and we have a dog named Whiskey who basically runs our home. Life is simple here in the best way with a lot of gratitude for the life God has given us.

I’m the heart behind Made for More Photography, and this business has grown in a way I never could’ve planned for myself. What started as me just loving to take photos has turned into something I get to do in some of the most meaningful moments of people’s lives. And I don’t take that lightly.

If I’m your photographer, I’m probably the one hyping you up when you feel awkward, tearing up behind the camera during vows, and chasing the real moments you didn’t even know were happening. I care deeply about people feeling comfortable, seen, and like themselves, not stiff, not forced, just real.

I love traveling, meeting new people, and stepping into different stories. Every couple, every family, every season is different and that’s what makes this job so special to me.

My faith is the foundation of everything I do. Jesus is the reason I see people the way I do, and I truly believe we were made for more. More love, more purpose, more presence, and more life that actually means something. That belief is what Made for More is built on.

I’m so thankful for every single person who has trusted me, supported me, or followed along. I don’t take any of it lightly, and I can’t wait for everything ahead. 🤍

Today I saw something that said photography helps you see the beauty of people the same way Jesus Christ sees them. I had never heard anything more true and it has been sitting with me all day.

One of the greatest gifts of photography has been the chance to truly see people. Every person who steps in front of my camera carries a story, dreams, laughter, and a life that is so uniquely their own. It’s such an honor to hear even a small part of that.

The more people I photograph, the more I’m reminded how beautifully God created every single person. The world can be quick to compare or make people feel like they are not enough, but that is not how Jesus sees us. He sees us with love, intention, and purpose.

Everyone is in a different moment of their journey. Some are coming from seasons of change, healing, celebration, or waiting. Some are stepping into something new, something they’ve prayed for, or something they never expected. Others are simply pausing in the middle of everyday life, not quite where they started but not yet where they’re going. And all of it matters. All of it is sacred in its own way.

Photography has become such a reminder to me that beauty is everywhere because it comes from the way we were created. The beauty I get to capture is not just a smile or a pose. It is the life, the light, and the story that God placed inside each person.

I may be new to this, but I feel incredibly grateful for every person who trusts me to step in front of my camera and share a piece of their story with me. It is such a gift getting to see people through that lens and be reminded of how wonderfully made we all are.

Every single person is beautifully created, deeply loved, and made for more. : )
