Now that the word is out I get to share!
My husband and I got to apart of this very special moment between our two friends. We hid in a truck for over an hour in the heat and made some friends with a few mosquitoes in order to catch this for our friend, Jake. (Taking pictures through dirty glass is hard btw and making sure your camera lens doesn’t fog over due to the breath and body heat you are producing in a closed vehicle). However, I would do it all over again to see McKennas face and Jake’s smile when she turned out and realized what was taking place. It was a fantastic moment and one I’ll be forever grateful for being in it.
A little side note here - these two people helped gut the inside of our kitchen, take drywall down to the bare studs since the morning and working in the hot attic to relocate wires for the stove.
That’s just the type of friends and people they are so when I was asked to do this - I knew there was no way I wouldn’t make it happen, work or put my all into it.
My husband helped set up lights and move the truck in place - on their property - the kids were swimming and we waited.
My two good friends are getting hitched yall! Congratulations to these beautiful souls I get the privilege to share my life with.
