This session was such a sweet surprise 🤍
After recently finding out her parents’ dog has cancer, their daughter booked this session while they were away for the weekend so she could capture some meaningful photos of the two fluffy pups and the grandkids. They then decided to add in their 93-year-old great grandpa for an updated generation photo.

We visited Wicked Tulips with a friend this past week and let me tell you… it was pure chaos 😂🌷
I had this dreamy vision of capturing sweet, magical photos of my kids running through the fields… but reality? I spent most of the time stopping tiny hands from ripping up every tulip in sight and chasing after my wild child who was determined to make a full escape.

It was a good reminder though—sometimes it really does make all the difference hiring a photographer to capture your moments. Because chances are, your kids will be about 100x better for them than they are for mom 😅

And hey, you might actually get to be in the memories instead of sprinting through them ❤️

I won’t pretend it’s easy right now.
Balancing this business, being home full-time, and homeschooling has stretched me.
This morning felt like every other—loud, messy, full.
Until I walked past her room and really saw it.
The tiny pieces of a life that won’t always look like this.
And it hit me…
This is what I’ll miss the most.
The mess. The magic.

Okay I just realized I haven’t posted in 3 weeks 😅

Life lately has been VERY full — between having a threenager at home and now homeschooling my oldest, my days have been completely occupied. I’ve had to pivot some of my business plans for the spring, and honestly… I’m learning to embrace a different pace.

It’s been a season of pouring into my kids, and what a blessing that truly is 💛

That said, I’m finally starting to find a better groove again, and I’ve been feeling inspired. I’m thinking about offering “bubbles in the park” mini sessions next month! These photos are from one of my all-time favorite sessions, and I love how it captures the pure, simple magic of childhood.

Real life motherhood looks a little different these days 🎨
Last week, I made an unexpected decision to begin homeschooling my daughter for the remainder of the year. It’s not something I had planned, but it’s a shift I’m stepping into with a lot of intention and heart.

As a newer small business owner, I’m still finding my rhythm, and this season is stretching me in new ways. As we settle into this change, there may be times when my response time is a bit slower than usual, and I truly appreciate your patience.

Being a mother and advocating for my children will always be my number one priority. Thank you for supporting my work and growing with me through all of life’s seasons 🤍

Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️
This day always brings me right back to Ireland… a place I had dreamed of visiting since I was a child, and where we spent our first wedding anniversary 🤍

It became so much more than just a trip…it was the moment we quietly announced our first pregnancy, holding a tiny aran sweater against the Irish landscape. A memory I’ll hold onto forever.

Truly the trip of a lifetime, filled with so much love & magic. Ireland will always have a piece of my heart 💚
