There’s something about the golden light of late summer that makes you want to press pause.🌿
The little trike rides. The bruised shins. The wild adventures through the grass. And then, somehow, it’s August again. A new backpack. A new teacher. Another first day of school.

Every year brings a new version of them. And as proud as we are to watch them grow, there’s always a little ache in saying goodbye to who they were before.
So here’s to all the mamas sending their babies off to school this fall. ❤️

Take the pictures. Save the little moments. Notice the golden light, the grass beneath their feet, the bruises on their shins. Because someday, these ordinary summer days will be the ones you miss most.
And I hope, years from now, you can look back at photographs and remember not just what they looked like…but exactly how it felt to be their mama in this season. ✨
