The most perfect fall evening this past Saturday at one of my favorite locations. Sometimes I can’t even believe how much magic we’re able to capture in a mini session! The sweetest big sister and a family that was just absolutely glowing.

There’s just something about in-home newborn sessions that gets me every time.

The toddler dragging pieces of the Nugget into the photos, the favorite stuffed animals making an appearance, little hands wanting to help, and all the little things that make your family your family. Your home, your routines, your kind of chaos. It’s not about making everything look perfect. It’s about capturing what life actually looks like right now, in this season that goes by way too fast.

And don’t get me wrong, beautiful studio sessions have their own magic, too. But there’s something about documenting your family in your own space, with all the little details that make it yours, that will always have my heart. Because one day, you’ll look back and realize those were the things you wanted to remember most.
