I have thought this over for a few months, and have decided that it is time for me to close my photography business. Over the years, I have been blessed to meet so many wonderful families and I’m forever thankful for the experiences and connections I’ve made, especially with my Seniors. I have enjoyed every moment and have made some amazing memories along the way. I want to thank everyone who trusted me to take their photos! It meant the world to me!

While this decision wasn’t easy, I’m at a different point in my life than when I started, and this is the right choice for me.

Thank you again to my photography family for all the memories!

I got busy yesterday & completely forgot to post Hayley's album for Senior Sunday. Soooo, we're going to pretend that Senior Monday is totally a thing. 😂

Hayley was a lot of fun to work with and always smiling, plus she was willing to try anything I suggested. She liked to dance, goof around & make funny faces when the camera wasn't pointed at her, but I still managed to capture some of those moments! She loves her dog, Lucy, so we had to get a few with her. But, the thing that struck me the most was her relationship with her mom. In just a short amount of time, I saw how close these two are & how much they enjoy being together. A lot of laughs were had with Hayley & her mom, Jen!

On Senior Sunday, I'd like to share April's album.

Let me tell you a little about April first, though. She loves to read and journal, has this wonderful sparkle in her eyes that never seems to leave, has some great facial expressions & a quick smile, & was up for anything I suggested. I had so much fun getting to know her & her mom, Debbie, & loved our sessions!

I know I have been very quiet for quite some time, but my summer and Fall have been spent with this year's Seniors. I, also, decided to do things a little different this year, & not preview any of the pics in advance of the album being done.

Now that I have Olivia's pics done, & she & her mom have had a chance to look through them, I'd love to share them. But, first, let me tell you a little about Olivia (& her mom). From my first meeting with them, to the last session, I felt so at ease & as if I'd known them forever. There was so much laughter amongst the 3 of us, that our time just flew by. Olivia is a very accomplished musician, playing many instruments, & most she has taught herself, so we had to put a lot of focus on that. I absolutely loved her quick smile!

I can hardly believe I'm down to the last Senior Sunday of 2024! Tonight, spotlight's the handsome Jack! His mom is one of my closest friends, & I've known him since he was a little guy, but it still didn't seem quite real that he's old enough to be graduating!

First up is the gorgeous & adventurous Jilani! She has such a fun personality & was always up to try anything!

And, now for my 2nd Senior of the night, Jennifer! She was visiting her grandma, all the way from Alabama, but wanted some pics taken in & around Carrington, where her mom grew up. It was a short session, but we definitely made the most of it! Also, the photo of Jennifer looking over her shoulder at the railroad tracks is a nod to a similar Senior pic her mom had.

It's Senior Sunday, & today I'm going to share 2 beautiful young women from Carrington (well, 1 was visiting her grandma, who lives in Carrington, but why split hairs😀).

Let's start with Izzy, who made my day when I got to take pics with her donkey, Cash, & some of her rabbits! Izzy is a member of FFA, so we definitely had to work that into her photos, as well!

And, now for the 2nd Senior of the night, Chance!

I've known Chance, & his family, for many years. I was even his Peewee baseball coach, a hot minute ago. He's always been on the quieter side, but has a quick, easy smile, and is one of the nicest young men I know. Whether we were doing a joint session with Jonah, or just 1 on 1, I enjoyed my time with Chance, & am sad to see it come to an end.

It's Senior Sunday, & today I'm going to share Jonah's & Chance's. These guys have been friends forever, & basketball teammates for almost as long. Their older brothers are also friends, & at the request of their parents, we made time for a few pics with all 4 of them. It was a lot of fun just watching (& capturing) them laughing & joking, as if I wasn't there & they were just hanging out!

Here is Jonah's album. Let me just say this, I have never worked with a guy who was as excited to take Senior pics, who had so many ideas of his own, & who was as adventurous & up for anything as Jonah! It was absolutely refreshing, & I had a blast every time we got together!
