one of my favorite things about engagement sessions is when couples bring pieces of their real life into it

the vintage truck, their pup riding shotgun, the way they naturally fell into each other like no one else was around — none of this felt overly styled or forced. it felt like them 🤍 and honestly, that’s always the goal.

Some engagement sessions you just feel.

Standing on top of this mountain with these two, it was impossible not to notice the quiet comfort between them—the way they laughed easily, leaned into each other without thinking, and felt completely at home together. The kind of love that doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful.

This is why engagement sessions matter so much. They aren’t just about photos—they’re about slowing down, getting comfortable in front of the camera, and capturing your connection as it is right now. They give you space to be present with each other before the whirlwind of wedding planning, and they allow me to document your story honestly and intentionally.

I already know their summertime wedding is going to be filled with so much joy, emotion, and meaning—and I feel so honored to be part of it.

Being a photographer is honestly one of the biggest blessings. It’s not just about pretty pictures- it’s about freezing moments that mean something. The tiny giggles, the quiet smiles and laughs couples share, the way someone looks at the people they love. I firsthand know how quickly those sweet, messy, in-between moments fade.

Being a mom is what made me fall in love with those in-between little moments. That’s why capturing those precious memories for others means so much to me. Let me introduce you to my entire world. My reason for living and everything I do.

Almost 10 years ago I met this small town boy who very quickly became the love of my life and then the father to these beautiful humans we created together, and I somehow fell in love with him even farther.. Sometimes I still can’t believe how we got here. I’m so excited for life with them and all the memories we get to create together. This Sunday, I’m just feeling an overwhelming joy and thankfulness for my little family. Hug your loved ones & don’t forget to remind them just how much they mean to you 💕
