As a photographer you learn that photos become more than just memories, they become pieces of people and moments we never want to forget. It’s a bittersweet reminder that life is fragile, and every photo holds a story, a connection, and a piece of someone’s legacy. As painful as loss can be, I’m grateful to have the ability to freeze moments in time that families and loved ones can hold onto forever.

My sweet and dear friend Nohemy suddenly lost her husband Austin. As he gets laid to rest today, I am heavy hearted, but so eternally grateful I was able to witness the love he had and always will for my girl and their daughter. I saw it from the start and he truly loved her so loudly and that’s all I could’ve ever wanted for her in this lifetime. So, thank you Austin for not only loving my best friend but for blessing her with a one of a kind love that she deserves, making her a wife and mother, and giving her the strength to believe in herself. You will be extremely missed but thank you Lord for the time we all had with you.
