I will no longer be posting identifiable images of children on my photography page. And all identifiable photos of your children will be removed.
The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home.
No one’s face is safe. Modern AI image generators learn how to create realistic human faces by "scraping" millions of public images from social media and the internet. A person using AI can easily download a normal, innocent photo of a child posted by a photographer and feed it into an AI tool to "morph" or recreate that specific child's likeness in horrific ways.
That is enough for me to say I will not be a part of the problem. If our government and laws aren’t going to adequately protect children from what AI can do with their images, then I feel a responsibility to do my part to protect them.
Once I deliver your gallery you are still free to use and post your images however you see fit, but as for what I post on this page your child’s face will have a cute little sticker baked in so it cannot be removed by AI. This includes all clients that have not reached high-school age.
