I had the joy of capturing this beautiful couple’s maternity session in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, and I am absolutely in love with how these photos turned out! 🤍

You would never know from these sweet, peaceful moments that we were racing against thunderstorms that were quickly approaching! The weather kept us on our toes, but it made the evening even more memorable—and the final gallery turned out absolutely beautiful.

Yesterday, during a newborn session, my client shared with me that her dad sadly passed away three years ago and that today would have been his birthday. Hearing her story touched my heart, and I knew I wanted to find a special way to incorporate him into her son’s newborn photos.

Being a photographer is about so much more than taking pictures—it’s about capturing love, memories, and the people who will always hold a special place in our hearts.
