I usually travel with a very heavy camera bag. This time, I left most of my gear at home and brought only a Fujifilm X100VI while traveling through Italy on a personal trip this spring.
It felt strange at first, but it ended up being a refreshing way to photograph — lighter, simpler, and more focused on noticing the little moments.
These images were captured throughout Cinque Terre, Finale Ligure, Porto Santo Stefano, and Rome while exploring with friends between mountain bike rides, slow mornings, and late dinners. In my latest blog, I share a few favorite moments from the trip.
