Tropical depression was expected to hit today... yet ranch life goes on.

It was a near miss for the people of Leon County, and while most of us were watching the weather, these cowboys and ranchers were up before the sun, working cattle at dawn.

Today, I got to be a fly on the... farm truck? 😂 ...and follow along as they did what they do.

One thing I can tell you: not many people are cut out for this way of life. The early mornings, long days, unpredictable weather, hard work, and responsibility that doesn't stop just because a storm might be rolling in.

It takes a special breed of human to live this lifestyle, and after getting a small glimpse behind the scenes today, I have SO much respect for the men and women who do.

Ranch life doesn't wait on the weather.

🤠 WESTERN MODELS WANTED THIS SATURDAY! 🐴

We’re looking for ONE MAN + ONE WOMAN for an early morning Western lifestyle branding shoot this Saturday!

You do NOT need to be a couple. We’re simply looking for a male and female model to showcase both sides of a Western apparel line.

We’re going for an authentic, cinematic ranch feel. Think boots, denim, horses, cattle, dirt roads, fences and early morning light. 🌾

IDEALLY, we’d love to find someone who also has access to a ranch or farm with horses and/or cattle! 🐴🐂

📅 This Saturday
⏰ Early morning / sunrise
📸 Western apparel branding shoot
🤠 Male + female models needed
🎁 Models will receive FREE professional images from the shoot!

No professional modeling experience necessary. We’re looking for people who are comfortable in front of the camera and fit an authentic Western/ranch lifestyle.

Interested? Send me a message with a recent photo of yourself, and let me know if you have access to a ranch, farm, horses or cattle.

Know someone who would be PERFECT for this? Tag them below! 👇

Please share so we can find the right people!

Some of my favorite sessions start with, “I'm awkward in front of the camera.” 😂🤍

Hailey + Davian came into their session a little nervous, but it didn't take long before the nerves turned into giggles, and those giggles turned into moments like this.

You don't have to know how to pose. You don't have to be comfortable in front of a camera. That's my job. You just have to show up with your person, and we'll figure out the rest.

And I think it's safe to say these two figured it out. 🖤

Hailey + Davian, thank you for trusting me to capture a little piece of your story.

📸 Now booking couples, engagements + just-because sessions.

Well sweet friends, it's that time of year! It is an absolute honor to be booking fall family portraits again. Even MORE exciting that I have families that have been booking with me for YEARS booking again!! Y'all seriously have no idea how much it means to me. 😭 I cannot wait to see your faces and catch up on LIFE!

With that being said, fall schedule is officially OPEN to book!! There is a chance I'll be offering mini sessions as well so if you're interested in that...keep watch. 👀

PS I love my darling Lightfoot family. The most precious little family. We go waaaaay back. 🥰🤍
