Hi everyone! 🤍 I have some really exciting news to share, but first, a little backstory.

Three years ago, I started this business hoping to stay home with my kids, make a little extra income, and learn a new skill. I’ve always been a creative person and have loved photography since I was young. What started as a dream has turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. This business has allowed me to grow, challenge myself, and do something I truly love.

Along the way, I realized that photography also helped me discover another passion: marketing and social media. I always knew it was something I was interested in, but after having kids, I figured a degree and career would have to wait until they were older. I thought that chapter of my life was still years away.

But sometimes God has different plans.

A few weeks ago, I decided to take a chance and apply for a few marketing positions. One opportunity stood out immediately and felt like the perfect fit. After several rounds of interviews, I was offered the job, and I still can’t believe I get to say that! It truly feels like a dream come true, and I officially start orientation and onboarding on Friday!

I know some of you are probably wondering what this means for my photography business.

The good news is that I’m not going anywhere! 📸 Kaylie Nicolson Photography will absolutely continue. My availability will look a little different, so if you’re hoping to book a session, I encourage you to reach out as early as possible. If you’re already on my calendar, your session is still on unless we’ve already discussed a scheduling conflict.

My family is stepping into such a new season. My kids are starting daycare, I’ll be commuting to work, and life is about to look a little busier than it has before. It’s bittersweet, but I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead.

I just want to say thank you. Thank you to every single person who has booked a session, shared my work, recommended me, or cheered me on over the last three years. Your support has given me the confidence to chase dreams I never thought were possible. I truly believe every open door and every closed door has led me exactly where I’m supposed to be, and I’m so grateful to have you all along for the journey.

Here’s to this next chapter. 🤍

Every little moment of the day is important. The hours leading up to promising forever are filled with so much emotion—nerves, joy, faith, and the love of proud family and friends.

This relationship is built on a firm foundation in Christ, and you could feel it in every moment before the ceremony. The entire day felt covered in His presence and grace.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to each and every contestant who stepped onto that stage tonight. It takes so much courage, confidence, and dedication to stand in front of your community and put yourself out there the way these young women did. Every one of you should be incredibly proud.
