As I type this post I am realizing I am so behind! I will try to post some of last year sessions soon.

But why I'm here now... a couple of weekends ago I had the great pleasure to meet two and photograph two high school seniors! Both were scheduled on the same day, one in the morning, and the other in the evening. Ohio's fall colors peaked quite early and since these sessions were scheduled the second-to-last week of fall, I was freaking out just a bit (okay - a lot a bit). We went down to Kentucky for a long-time family friend's wedding and while that was amazing and wonderful, I couldn't help but pray and hope there would still be leaves the following weekend. It didn't help that the week leading up to the sessions it rained for days. I whispered every time I happened to be on the road "Please hang on! Please! At least for a week!"

Incredibly, we had great colors and plenty enough leaves! It also helped that both of my seniors were complete naturals.

It was such a great day to get out and see some other humans, especially the parents I hadn't seen in months. :)

Today was such a beautiful morning for Michaela's senior portraits! She was such a natural as you can clearly see!

It's been a little while since I have posted anything so here are a few adorable babies! Each shoot posed a new challenge (and the same one at that!) none of the babes would sleep! They were quite active and awake so I did not get my favorite classic shots. But, it was fun spending time with these amazing mamas!

Last weekend was such a beautiful weekend to be out for senior photos! This guy was not much different than most boys when it comes to senior pics. But he was a champ and we got some great shots!

I had the wonderful pleasure of being a part of this little guy's first birthday! He was always smiling and happy - until he started to eat the cake! Such a wonderful family and friend's of the family!

It was such an honor to be able to celebrate with one of my best friends from college on her very special day!! I could not be more happier for her new life with Zach. Zach and Amanda - you two are such very special and wonderful people. Beautiful both inside and out and I wish you all the best!!
