PLAYER SPOTLIGHT | DILLON TERRY SENIOR RB/DB

Brookstone senior Dillon Terry had a MONSTER night against Glenwood this past Friday, finding the end zone 3 times and gave it his all despite the loss🔥.

Terry is a playmaker on both sides of the ball and the talent is definitely there. This kid looks ready to take his game to the NEXT LEVEL. He has received D1 offers so he is poised and prepping for the next level leap!

These young men put in work under the Friday night lights but the work in the classroom comes first. Because without handling business in the classroom, you don’t get the opportunity to handle business on the field. Student first. Athlete second. ALL IN.

The House Always Win!! The Cougars made the run to the GIAA 4A State Championship last season. It didn’t end the way they wanted but the story isn’t finished.

This summer, these young men put in the work. College camps. Tournaments. Long days. Extra reps. Every opportunity to compete, learn and get better.

Now it’s time. The mission is clear! Keep the Jug where it belongs and bring a State Championship back to Columbus.

Motivated! Dedicated! Locked in! No looking back! No half stepping! No unfinished effort.

Unfinished business. ALL IN.

THE FOCUS ISN’T ON THEM. IT’S ON US.

We’re focused on our mindset! We’re not worried about who’s lined up across from us. We’re focused on US.

Getting better. Staying disciplined. Trusting the preparation. Giving everything we have every time we step on the field.

Handle what’s in our classroom. Handle what’s in our locker room. Handle what’s on our side of the ball and when Friday night comes, be ready for whoever is standing on the other side.

The standard starts within. The opponent is just who’s next. 🏆

Brookstone Football kicked off the season with their first Gridiron Grill and team lock-in ahead of Media Day! It’s a chance for the guys to bond, have some fun, and spend time together as they get ready for the season.

But before dinner, Andrew Carter give the team his spot on impersonation of Coach Jones… and judging by their reaction, the players definitely approve! 😂😂

Here are a few more freelance shots I captured along the RiverWalk on both the Phenix City side and the Columbus side.

Urban landscape photography has really become an outlet for me. It’s a different pace from event photography and videography and honestly a peaceful side of the lens that lets me slow down, reset, and just create. Sometimes stepping away from the fast movement of games, restaurants, and live events helps me see things differently.

Grateful for spaces like the RiverWalk that make it easy to stay inspired right here in Columbus.

Pulled the camera out and spent some time down by the river yesterday.

It’s been a little while since I’ve been behind the lens like this, but getting back out there reminded me how much I enjoy capturing moments like these. Sometimes you just have to slow down, reset, and create again.
