Made a couple tintypes at the Performance Charity Car Show in uptown Delaware today. Unfortunately it was a little crowded and I had to set up shop a little far away to make tintypes more feasible.

There were a bunch more cars I'd have liked to shoot, but I timed it out to about a 7 minute walk one way to the closest one. I just didn't think I could get it done without the plates drying out on me.

Spent the weekend doing some Tintype portraits at Malabar Farm State Park doing the Ohio Heritage Days. My first such event and I had a wonderful time. I got to take some tintypes, meet a ton of folks, and talk about the tintype process. A successful event by my experience and I'm already looking forward to next year.

The fog has cleared and it's another beautiful day. Come out to the Ohio Heritage Days at Malabar Farm State Park. See some historical displays, take a tour, try some smoked ham (at 1p), and of course get a tintype portrait done! We're all here until 4pm.

Come on out to Malabar Farm State Park next weekend (Sept 26-27 10a-4p). Tours of the Big House, educational displays, live music, and food trucks. Free admission and free parking.
