Elite Studio of Dance became one of my first "real" clients, back around 20 years ago. (Photo evidence included.)

Neither of us knew where the next twenty years would lead. Since then, they've trained generations of dancers. I've spent two decades documenting stories through photography and film.

Somehow, we're both still doing what we love.

LOOK WHO'S TURNING 20 🎉

This month marks 20 years since I officially launched my business.

Over the last two decades, I've had the privilege of photographing and filming thousands of people, performances, businesses, families, artists, nonprofits, and milestones. I've watched newborns grow into adults, dancers become professionals, startups become established companies, and families write entire chapters of their lives in front of my camera.

BalletMet’s 25/26 season ended with a bang last night with the world premiere of La Bohème by Remi Wörtmeyer, and what a way to close the season! 🔥😍😭

Huge congratulations to the dancers, artistic team, crew, musicians, wardrobe, lighting, and everyone who brought this production to life. La Bohème was layered, emotional, visually stunning, and full of the kind of movement that makes dance photography feel electric.

Come behind the scenes while we create this image for Remi Wörtmeyer's world premiere production of La Bohème with BalletMet . This show opens on May 13th and runs through May 17th at the Davidson Theatre in Columbus, OH. I've had the privilege to watch this work unfold as Remi has created it, and hands down, it's one of the best story ballets I've seen in a very long time. If you're in the city and looking for something that will make you laugh and cry, you're going to absolutely want to come see this show.
