As Many of you know I've been on crutches, since my accident for quite a few years now and photographing on crutches for short times is still doable. I hope the tests coming back and perhaps another surgery will get me back to walking again! Regardless Photography is my passion. Happy Bday Olive!, and what a beautiful family. I learned that people from Ghana celebrate krada, which means Soul Day on the day that they were born. This observance involves a cleansing ritual intended to purfiy the inner soul. On a person's krada they celebrate with a feast with family and friends is held in the person's honor, and the celebrant usually dresses in tradition clothing.

This is one of the best family reunions I ever have photographed. There were sac races, bubbles, hay rides, a bounce house, a taco truck, water balloon fights, and many awesome memories made. Thanks Oesch family for letting me part of your special day. , , , , , , , ,
