In honor of we are thankful for being able to spend these tender moments with our clients as we create their albums and artwork to decorate their lives with the art from their stories.
It’s such a fleeting moment even though if you ask mommas who are nursing, they tell you there are pieces that feel undeniably long and painful! 😂 😂
Cheers to all those who are not only sustaining life with their bodies this week, but who also take a second to reflect this week and cherish these fleeting moments for what they can mean in our lives and the lives of our littles ❤️❤️

It’s no secret, life is hard.

Marriage isn’t some cake walk where unicorns p**p rainbows and butterflies.

Life doesn’t get magically lighter bc you have someone else with you.

But there IS something about life with someone you are able to be your “barefoot in a fancy dress” kind of self with that makes the situations of challenge and pain have more purpose and where for moments, it feels a bit like floating.
Cheers to real and authentic life and wedding days that feel so much like YOU that every memory in your wedding album tells the story of the life you’d always pictured.

What is one thing you miss about being pregnant?
It’s such a crazy thing to watch life being formed and be able to spend some time reflecting on the story we are writing, how we make that a “trophy moment” in our lives and family, and creating artwork and heirlooms from those moments!

When is the best time to do your senior photos?
I get this question a ton every year and parents inquiring saying they’ve “dropped the ball” on taking care of this for their kiddo. But, the truth is the best time to do it is when you set the time aside.
A big part of the experience is simply that - time.
We get moments every day and we can also make those special or ordinary.
Personally, I believe it’s the “ordinary“ moments of our lives that make up the true pieces of our happiness and those are exactly the pieces we help make special!
So, when is the best time? Today seems like a great day :-)

If we are being honest, being pregnant doesn’t feel a lot like this photo for a lot of people.
It isn’t glowy, or grand is often filled with less sleep, more sickness, achy joints, vomiting and worry than we typically experience in daily life.
But there are parts...
When you take a breath and see are reminded of those who struggle sometimes with no positive results to conceive, and you are struck with the absolute wonder and awe of what carrying a life is made up of...
When the pains and absolute brutality or birth are met with the innocent and helpless cries of new life...
When you see all that undeniable effort and struggle turn into life and growth you never expected and feel the feelings of hope and excitement over the future that you had previously only hoped for and seen in part in movies or songs...
Hard things are often beautiful and the celebration of the pregnancy is, in itself, an often overlooked well spring of joy and glory.
This new offering simply called “Framed” is focused on an artistic interpretation of how it feels to be alive. Setting apart time to create art that lives in our homes as a way to honor and celebrate the life, hardship, struggle and joy that IS being alive.

This years Senior class is proving to be some of the most resilient and fun kids I have worked with in a while. They’re learning some incredible life stuff with the challenges of the last year and the truth that hardship and adversity can produce the most beautiful and honest results!
