A few important changes and reminders...
1. We’ve opened up this event - it is no longer invitation-only. This was originally done to ensure that the people who were interested were actually serious about photography as well as participating in this shoot, because I’ve hosted a number of free styled shoots in the past where people didn’t show up. But, I think the ticket price should encourage show-up rate, so we have decided to remove that aspect. We do have a form (at the link below) which we need you to complete to ensure compliance with the venue’s rules and so we know you’re serious about coming to this styled shoot.
2. Videographers are welcome as well as photographers! That was always the case actually but I didn’t do a good job of letting it be known. So now you know! 🙂
3. We changed our pricing to reflect 50% off the current ticket price, which is the absolutely lowest we can afford to offer the ticket due to our overhead expenses. We increased the number of photographer slots total to 20 to make this happen, but we will be happy if we only sell 15.. We have also decided to sell tickets through May 9th. Once we receive your registration, I will create and send you an invoice.
4. Our reduced-ticket giveaway contest for a $500 ticket is still running through May 1st and the winner will be announced on May 2nd! Please follow the rules listed in that post to qualify.
I will admit that I am not the best at marketing, so I sincerely apologize if anything has been confusing along the way. I realize it’s an opportunity of mine and I’m working on it. Rest assured, my strengths are event planning, fashion styling and photography, so you can take comfort in knowing this styled shoot will be without a doubt incredible!
You will find that we are a pretty easy-going, reliable and patient group of people, so this will be a really fun event! I appreciate your patience with me in pulling it all together!
