Our favorite sunrise view of the trip wasn't even a planned one. We came across this view and obviously couldn't pass it up.

Then we ended up snorkeling both of these bays and spotting sea turtles and all kinds of underwater life. Anyone wanna guess which bays/beaches these are?

Just back from a week-long trip down to the Virgin Islands (with most of that time spent on St. John).

Here's a glimpse of what we brought back with us.

That island left quite an impression, and we're already trying to figure out how we can spent a lot more time there 😅 anyone else ever have that problem?

This shot is our reminder that a huge part of photography is 'right place at the right time'.

Sometimes, despite hours of planning and research, we don't get the results we want. And then, sometimes you're driving down Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park with a couple of your best friends and you look over and see this.

Did we stop? Oh yeah. Did we get some great photos? Sure did. Did we plan on it? Not at all.

We’re Joren and Laura. We’re a husband and wife photography team who love to capture those real, authentic memories of you and your loved ones. Just like you, we have a story to tell. We’ve been together since the days of Myspace. We love spending our time outdoors, whether we’re hiking, camping or kayaking. We could just as easily be found on the couch vegging out on some sci-fi or researching tiny house living.

Our passion for photography started with a different passion - travel and adventure. We wanted to photograph our best memories on the road and around the world, but we wanted photos that we’d be proud to hang on our walls.

With time and lots of hard work we developed our photography skills. We spent more and more time behind the camera. We started serving on the photography team at our church. Eventually that passion turned into something more and we realized that we wanted to help others capture their memories. To give them something they could hang on their walls or send to friends and family in a card.
