Behind every graduation cap is a story, and behind these two graduates stands an incredible mother.

A mother’s love is found in the early mornings, the late nights, the sacrifices no one sees, and the unwavering belief that her children can achieve anything they set their minds to.

One child graduating college. One child graduating high school. Two remarkable milestones, made possible by years of love, encouragement, strength, and devotion.

Some people come into your life and end up becoming part of your story in ways you never expect.

When I first moved here, he was one of the very first people to welcome me and become a friend. And then she became one of my closest friends. Somewhere along the way, I had a small part in bringing these two together, and now I get to stand behind the camera capturing the family they have built.

I met them while I was getting ready for another shoot, and before I knew it, I was being invited into one of the most intimeaningful moments of their lives.
