Another chapter in the Jenn’s Lens journey. 📸 💕

Tonight, I put the finishing touches on a very special photography project for Destiny Worship Center’s Apostle Appreciation celebration.

From capturing the energy and emotion of the event to the countless hours spent carefully selecting and editing the photographs, this experience reminded me just how much goes into telling a story through a lens.

Every assignment brings new challenges, new lessons, and new opportunities to grow. This one certainly delivered all three.

But more than anything, I’m grateful for the opportunity to preserve moments that matter to someone else.

Tonight, the final photographs are packaged, the thank-you is written, and another milestone for Jenn’s Lens LLC is complete.

A little more experience. A little more confidence. A whole lot of gratitude.

Here’s to continuing to learn, create, and see the world a little differently. 💕

I’m learning that peace has a lot to do with how tightly we hold things.

Plans. People. Outcomes. Versions of ourselves. Expectations. Seasons of life.

So much of our suffering comes from trying to keep things exactly as they are, or forcing them to become what we thought they should be.

Non-attachment isn’t indifference. It’s allowing life to move without constantly fighting the movement.

Appreciate what is here. Love it while it’s here. Learn from it. Let it change. Let it leave if it needs to.

There is a strange kind of freedom in no longer needing everything to stay.

Autumn has always felt like a becoming. The cool, crisp morning air; the warm afternoon sun; and the daylight that starts slipping away more and more with each beautiful sunset.

There is something about this season that feels honest. Things change. Things fall away. The light shifts. The air cools. Instead of feeling down, it feels like an invitation to slow down, look around, and appreciate where you are.

This year, the first day of fall feels especially meaningful to me. I’m entering a new season of life in more ways than one, and I find myself looking forward with more curiosity than fear.

I think there is something beautiful about reaching a point where you stop feeling like you have to constantly prove, perform, or bloom. Sometimes growth is quieter than that. Sometimes it looks like letting go. Sometimes it looks like trusting yourself more. Sometimes it simply looks like becoming more comfortable in your own skin.

Not younger… Not older… Just more fully here.

More grounded… More certain… More at peace with the woman I am becoming.

So here’s to autumn 🥂 To changing light… To silver threads… To quieter wisdom… To letting go of what no longer fits and making room for what does.

The season is changing.

And so am I. 🍂💕
