We lucked out with surprisingly warm November weather, gorgeous light, and a stunning sunset at Goose Creek State Park in Washington, NC. We even caught a few sweet shots with her boyfriend. ❤️

{how it feels coming out of my social media hibernation}

Hello, Facebook - I'm back!

Well, I never *really* went away. I've still been busy behind the camera these last few years, but I haven't been the best about sharing my photography here on Facebook.

Truth is, life has been tough for me over the last three years. I've experienced my share of loss and disappointments, as many of you may know, and it can be easy to dwell in that sometimes. In the midst of it all, I allowed photography - one of my biggest passions - to fall to the wayside. I found myself taking on fewer photo sessions and no longer promoting myself or my work.

I'm hoping 2025 will be my year to step back into it. I'm letting go of the other photography names you may have known me as: Grits & Grace Photography and Darling Wren Photography. Now, I'm just me, Debbie Spruill.

I hope you will follow my new page here as I play catch-up and share some of my favorite photo sessions from the last few years that I have not previously shared before, and also be on the lookout for newer photos throughout 2025!

For those of you who have stuck by me and continued to support me and my photography, even in the quiet times, thank you.
