📸 After 15 beautiful years behind the lens, I’m stepping into a new season of life. Photography has been more than a job—it’s been a journey filled with incredible clients, breathtaking places, and moments of growth I’ll cherish forever.

I started this adventure in 2010 with no clue where it would take me, but with the help of wonderful mentors, I found a passion that carried me across 4 states, 5 moves, and countless memories. 🥹

As I approach 40 in a few weeks, I feel called to open my hands to the future, even if it means letting go of something I’ve held close for so long. This decision wasn’t easy, but it feels right. 🙏🏻

To everyone who trusted me to capture your memories: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant the world to me. 🥰

I met Carli years ago serving in youth ministry and God just happened to see fit that we be paired in a discipleship group together…we’ve walked through so many seasons of life and for that I’m so grateful!

I love photographing friends!! Some people find it nerve wracking but I find it freeing! I play with new techniques, explore more with my editing, get in close, crop tighter and deliver way too many images because I simply cannot choose! This session was so sweet. Although it was super cold, we had a lot of fun capturing life before baby boy arrives in a few short weeks!

In 2024 I’m committed to picking up my “big girl camera” once a month to photograph my son! It allows me to try out new ideas, new settings, shoot at different times of the day and in different lighting scenarios. This was mid afternoon and the sun was in and out from behind the clouds so that had me making adjustments in camera like crazy…also hello 3.5 year old who is rarely in one place long enough to set the adjustment before they change again…LOL but it’s good practice and he loves looking at all the pics when we are done! I’m glad he hasn’t grown tired of being a photographers kid quite yet 😉

Also, this little space is getting a revamp. I’ll be sharing a lot more photography and the beautiful faces I get to see in front of my camera and a lot less of the other stuff!

But I’ve got my spark back (thank you Happy Juice 🤩) and I feel more motivated and committed to share consistently about all the things. 🙌🏻

Motherhood is…crumbs in the bed, tantrums at the table and cleaning up all the messes. BUT it’s also…giggles before bed, big bear hugs, and hearing the sweetest “I love yous” every day!
