Some decisions leading up to 2023 have been easier than others. However one has been extremely difficult. I have made the decision to close out my season in professional photography.

I love everything about photography, except how much time it takes me away from my family.

Who knows when I’ll be back, but I just want to say thank you to every friend, client, and colleague that has been apart of this journey!

We have been in the process of a cross country move, while also welcoming the sweetest little boy to our family.

I’m excited for our new adventure but I will definitely miss the beauty I get to capture here in Colorado! Thank you to all my amazing clients here in Colorado! You are all loved 💛🧡💚

When you are in a “creative” job everything feels personal. I’ve often wanted to quit photography because my photos don’t look like someone else’s or maybe the style of editing I love is not what my clients would want.

It makes you realize what you’re willing to compromise on. Although I might be able to change my style to gain more clients would I still love what I do?

Part of why I love being a photographer is the end result the final photo. I love how vibrant true to color photography is, how classic/timeless it is. People may think it’s the easy way out with editing but I spend hours on photos just like I would any other style!

Keep being you. Even if you doesn’t feel good enough. You are worth it!
