I’m on a mission. This is gonna be a bit of a rant so if you just want to look at cool bts photos then swipe away.
Recently after being on the road and in LA for a number of years, our family moved back to Colorado, specifically Colorado Springs. While this comes from multiple reasons, including having a foundation and community for our family, slowing down at work is NOT one of them.
In fact, I’m more motivated than I’ve ever been. Motivated to show the world that you can create incredible things wherever you are. Motivated to meet new clients and creatives to push the status quo of what “small town” creatives look like. Motivated to bring people in and teach them what it means to be on a real set, what quality lighting looks like, how to push beyond client and community expectations to create something memorable and beautiful.
Since being back I’ve been busier than I was in LA, and while I do believe my time there was invaluable and the people I met are amazing, I also believe it’s time to be here to embrace the now, and blow the doors off the Colorado creative scene. We’re here, we’re still making stuff, and we can rival the big boys.
Speaking of, let me shine some light on local creative talent you should know:
- radical DP, Grip, Gaffer and more!

Also, I can’t do this post without mentioning the legend who brought his students from to help and learn.
Be where you are and make rad s**t with your fellow humans. I’m here Colorado, and I’m not going anywhere except all the way up.
