Hello! If we haven't met, I'm Ariel. It's pronounced โarrrghโ like a pirate ๐ฆ but I will not be offended by the mermaid route of pronunciation.
I've been married to Dallas for almost 7 years now. We are both from Colorado Springs, but have lived in southern Arizona and Tacoma, WA through his work with the Army before we returned to our community here a couple years ago. My idea of a good time includes neighborhood walks, tinkering with words in my journal, peeping open one of the seven books I'm forever in the middle of, and sitting on floors cracking open things of the heart and soul with you. I'm a big fan of black licorice, personality tests, and the topic of birth. Speaking of which, the most exciting thing in our lives is that we welcomed our first beloved child into them this spring. Her name is Evangeline, and we are obsessed. She is absurdly adorable. Swipe for proof.
These photos display some of the true places of my life in past months as I intend for the occasional black and white photo around hereโฆ gazing at aforementioned cherub, our first outing as a family to our favorite place in Manitou, exploring a little creativity with some thank you cards (we have sooo many generous people to thank in this wild season - I'll *never* catch up), and capturing the prayerful Confirmation ceremony at our wonderful church.
The uniqueness of our identities is my endless fascination, and that is much of what I explore in my sessions. What makes your family tick? What has formed your being? I'm still learning who I am in the midst of my newfound motherhood, forming a family spiritually and intentionally and healthfully, and pursuing this craft with authenticity - I truly hope to get the honor of seeing and capturing the truth of who you are becoming. ๐ธ
