Donkey Soul Photography Rustic, Heartfelt photography inspired by the gentle spirit of donkeys. Where every soul matters. This is my why I choose to shoot photography. A bond.

I shoot because I know what it feels like to want to hold onto something that won’t last forever. The way your dog looks at you from the passenger seat. The quite strength in an old animals eyes. The way light settles over a field at golden hour like it’s saying, this matters. I don’t photograph perfection. I photograph connection. I shoot because animals have healed parts of me I didn’t know how

to name. Because open skies remind me to breathe. Because every soul - human or hoofed- deserves to be seen and remembered. When I lift my Camera I’m not just capturing an image. I’m honoring a life. A moment that will never exist the same way again. This is more than photography for me. It’s preservation. It’s gratitude. It’s soul work. And that’s why I shoot.

People have asked what winning America's Favorite Photo would mean to me.
For me, it's not about the prize itself—it's about what it would make possible.
I would make Donkey Soul Photography official, invest back into the business, add a drone to my equipment, and continue creating meaningful memories for the people who trust me to tell their stories.
I would also give back to local donkey rescues. Donkeys have played such a huge role in my healing journey and have become the heart behind my business. Supporting the organizations that care for them would mean so much to me.
And there's one thing I've always dreamed of doing: walking into a restaurant and leaving a tip that truly blesses a hardworking server. Not for recognition. Just because kindness matters.
