This one belongs to all of us. Six All-Conference honors, four All-section honors, our first 10-win season, our first playoff win, and our first conference title. None of it happens without every single player on this roster.

We did the hard things this year. We gave the effort when it would have been easier to coast, kept our attitude when it would have been easier to fold, and took care of each other through all of it. Somewhere in there we got stronger, more confident, more resilient. That part doesn't stay on the field. It goes with you for the rest of your lives.

So proud of this team.

UPDATE: Cloquet Animal Hospital is the first sponsor/advertiser for State Track coverage!

So..the State track meet is June 4-6 this year... and softball (IF we have teams qualify) is June 2-4..which I will include for the track sponsorship.

Businesses (or individuals) wishing to sponsor Viewthroughmylens.net coverage of the 3-5 day events can do so for $100... which includes all of the social media mentions and tags on your FB and IG pages if you have them.

Section 7AA is sending 4 girls to the 300-meter hurdles at State.. 2 from Cloquet High School Cloquet Track and Field and 2 from Hibbing High School Track & Field Mak Lynch won (of course) with a 42.94 and the 5th fastest time this season. Bluejackets Hannah Farnsworth finished second at 45.78.. Lumberjack Kira Suominen finished third at 46.20 and Bluejacket Hattie Eskeli fourth at 46.69.

Lynch trails Providence Academy's Maddyn Greenway by just 2-tenths of a second in the 300-meter hurdles currently.

North Branch Area Public Schools senior Ella Dick returns to state in pole vault for the 5th straight year and senior teammate Brooke Giese makes her second state pole vault appearance. Freshman teammate Savannah Schroepfer finished third and will continue the NB-Vikings Pole Vault "legacy" into the future
