I've said it before, but I have to say it again: One of the best things about this job is the chance I have to watch families grow up over the years...this is the 4th year I've gotten to work with this family whose fashion sense I continue to envy (eat your hearts out, real housewives of wherever!) and every year is my new favorite session with them. Thank you again, Dart Family!!

It seems like the sessions with the most issues leading up to the shoot (insane traffic, late hair and makeup appointments, etc) end up being the BEST sessions. I think we were rewarded for our perseverance...it was SUCH a lovely evening!! Thanks Ashlyn and Tyler!

I knew in the first ten seconds of meeting Kaylyn that this day was going to be amazing! She just has a sparkle about her! She and Dale are high school sweethearts, and you can just see their natural chemistry (or is it physics? wink) in their every action. Thank you, guys, for letting me capture your sweet ceremony!

One of the things I loved most about these two is their unbridled JOY when they are together! I am not sure I've ever seen two people so freewheeling and happy and silly...we spent the whole session laughing.

I'm so excited to do Deanne's wedding after I've been lucky enough to shoot so many of her family's weddings in the past (two sisters and two cousins!) But I'll tell you one thing about these two: there never was a couple with more gloriously flippable hair. ;) I was in heaven.

Trying to catch up on the last two or three weeks of shooting...starting with this blustery engagement shoot out in the mountains. I've known Brooke since we were kids, and am soooo excited to shoot her wedding next month! (She's a photographer, too! Always super nervous/flattered when I have photographers ask me to take their pictures!) aren't these two so cute??

Brandon is my one and only brother and I got to shoot his engagements in Kanab this weekend at the balloon festival that had no balloons because it rained out! But the pics turned out great anyway, and I am SO HAPPY my little bro is marrying KelLynn (Seriously, if he hadn't asked her to marry him, I might have disowned him.) I know it can't be easy to date a dude with SEVEN sisters, but she had my vote from day 1. (She brought my Lincoln a birthday present without ever having met him before. My love can be bought. And apparently so can my son's...Lincoln probably loves her as much, if not more, than Brandon.) Anyhow, long story short...so excited for another awesome sister!!! :) Thanks for taking Brandon off the market (and off of our hands, haha).
