Class of 2026.....
Man, this one is a tough one for me.
First of all, two of my own children graduated.
One from high school, and one from college.
Secondly, the one that graduated from high school is my baby so that comes with all its own emotions.
Thirdly, the one that graduated from college has decided to live and work across the country. WHICH is what I have always hoped for- that my kids would find a place and people that they love and build a life there. But it is HARD when it actually happens!
Fourthly (is that a word?) A LOT of these young people have been my bonus children since they were 2,3, and 4 years old which makes them MINE and now not only do I have 2 kids graduating, I have SEVERAL!!! AND 2 of these beautiful and smart young women love my boys so honestly, who is more blessed than I????
But here is the thing......
This is an emotional time for us moms- for some its the excitement of our first child graduating, and for others, its the uncertainty of it being our last and what that means to US and OUR future as parents of 'adult' kids.
But through it all, we can look back on all the wonderful memories and also look forward to the chapters that are about to unfold. Most importantly we CELEBRATE who these amazing young people are and the gifts they are to this world.❤️
To all my seniors...... I love you all and am so grateful for the time we had taking these photos. I wish you every luck, joy and happiness that your next chapter brings and I pray that God continues to lead you, guide you, and keep you safe.
Be humble, be KIND, and always know you have me to call if you need a friend.
To my senior parents.... thank you for trusting me to photograph this exciting, emotional time. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and support of me and my small business and thank you and your children both for being such a blessing to me!
Congratulations Class of 2026
