SHE. HAD. NO. IDEA.

He told her they were just going to the Omni Homestead Resort for a little getaway…

She thought she was there for a beautiful evening and dinner.

What she DIDN’T know was that he had a whole different kind of surprise waiting for her.

And then… he got down on one knee.

The look on her face.
The shock.
The happy tears.
The realization of “WAIT… THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING?!”

And I got to be there, camera in hand, hiding the secret and capturing the exact moment she realized she was about to become a fiancée.

Honestly, these are the moments I LOVE getting to photograph. Not just pretty pictures… but the moments you can feel all over again years from now.

The MenNefer is truly what fairytales are made of. From the breathtaking scenery to the unforgettable moments shared between two people in love, every detail was absolutely magical.

Days like this remind me why I love capturing weddings so much preserving the laughter, happy tears, and memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

A little reminder to all my future brides, don’t fret if rain shows up on your wedding day. Some of the most beautiful skies appear right after the storm passes, and those soft post-rain colors make for the dreamiest photos. To the moms in every season, the ones running on coffee and chaos, the ones soaking in every baby snuggle, the ones cheering from the sidelines, praying through hard days, and loving endlessly behind the scenes today we celebrate you.

The little hands you hold today won’t stay little forever, but the love you pour into your family will last a lifetime.
