Being engaged is such a special season of life. It’s almost an underrated season of life. People often jump into wedding planning & are sometimes in a consistent state of waiting for the big day. You were dating for however many years & will eventually be married for the rest of your lives, but you may only get one or even two holiday seasons as an engaged couple. Treasure these memories together! You will be making plans together, learning about each other’s likes & dislikes in new ways, & you’ll definitely be finding a new intimacy in creating a future together, a shared vision that gets closer & closer as you countdown to your wedding day.
We love this season of life. Couples we speak to who may be looking to book with us are full of love, looking forward together. Getting to document this unique time in your relationship’s journey is really cool for us. We get to talk about what led you here & where you hope to go. We get to see you show off your engagement photos to your loved ones who are all sharing in your excitement. When you book with us, we start counting down with you, but we also hope you pause, take a breath, & really love the time you’re spending together as an engaged couple.
Alyson + Josh, these two could not have been more adventurous in their session, really living in the moment. We love that they took direction with a smile & also needed no direction at times because they were just enjoying one another’s company in the gorgeous scenery around us. We LOVE that they were so willing to wade into the river for these amazing shots. A couple who adventures together, stays together, right? This was our first time at McConnell’s Mill State Park & we can definitely see ourselves offering more sessions here to anyone willing. There are so many stunning spots, too many to even fit into one Instagram post. We’ll definitely be showing off more of these two in the future!
