From Distant Shores to Forever...
Matthew + Veronica, October 16, 2026

Matthew’s journey began in New York, while Veronica’s began in Iceland. Though their lives started oceans apart, fate brought them together in Florida, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Coming from different backgrounds and cultures, Matthew and Veronica bring their own unique stories, traditions, and perspectives to their relationship. Though blending two worlds may bring its challenges, they have found something beautiful in the way they complement one another, creating a partnership built on love, understanding, and a shared vision for the future.

It seems only fitting that they chose the ocean as the setting for their wedding day. Its endless horizon serves as a reminder that life is an ever-changing journey, with unpredictable waves and uncharted waters along the way. Yet, just as the horizon stretches endlessly before them, so does the promise of a lifetime together. Hand in hand, they are ready to navigate whatever lies ahead, embracing each new adventure with love and commitment.

What began with two lives on different shores has become a beautiful story of two hearts finding their home in one another. It was a privilege to celebrate Matthew and Veronica as they began this next chapter, surrounded by the beauty of the ocean and the promise of forever.

Where The Lake Holds Our Memories

Gavin has spent many summers on Seneca Lake, creating memories and finding joy in the beauty of New York’s beloved Finger Lakes. From laughter-filled days with family and friends to the sound of boat waves washing ashore, boating, and learning to wake surf, the lake has always held a special place in his heart. Wake surfing began as learning a new skill but has grown into a passion he now enjoys sharing with others.

Of course, no family boat ride would be complete without Maggie, who never wants to be left behind when the adventure begins! She was certainly not about to miss this special day on the water with Gavin.

Gavin has many interests, from developing apps to cross-country running, skiing, wake surfing, and jet skiing. For this portrait, we chose to focus on his love of the lake and capture a moment that celebrates the experiences and traditions that have become such a meaningful part of his summers.

More than a photograph of a boy and his dog, this image captures a connection to a place, the freedom of summer, and the memories made with the people we love. These are the moments that stay with us long after the summer sun sets, reminding us that sometimes the most meaningful adventures are the ones that bring us home.

I have been waiting to post these awesome photos of Joey's scuba session! It has been a few years since I photographed under water, so I took a lot in and out of the water and loved them all, so here they are! This was a team effort by so many! Amazing friends and neighbors Birgit Kercher and Lutz Kercher for allowing us to use the pool and having it nice and warm for us to not freeze! My husband for all the hauling and moving of lights and holding me under water...lol! My cousin Derek Duell for the scuba gear for both of us! Tj and Tandi Shaull Kiczenski for all the hauling of gear, bts videos and coordinating and trusting me to do these for your son! Such a fun time capturing this memory for Joey and his family to enjoy! Can you even choose a favorite?! One thing I can say for certain is...MY JOB IS NEVER BORING! Joey, Class of 2027

Whether she is performing ballet, jazz, lyrical, or Irish dance, Allison gives her whole heart to every step. Dance is more than something she does; it is a way for her to express herself, challenge herself, and share something beautiful with others. Through dedication, perseverance, and a belief in herself, she has learned that the greatest beauty comes from giving your very best.

Joshua discovered his love for golf when he started playing in seventh grade. What began as a new activity quickly grew into a passion for the game and the challenge it brings. He enjoys spending time outdoors, the focus and concentration golf requires, and the opportunity to continually improve with every round.

Golf has taught Joshua the value of patience, perseverance, and staying focused, while learning from both the great shots and the difficult ones. With every swing, he continues to challenge himself, grow as a player, and set new goals. What he loves most about golf is that there is always something new to work toward—a new skill to master, a new challenge to overcome, and another opportunity to become better.

Composing Her Story

This portraits represents every part of Emma’s artistry—the music she plays, the songs she sings, the dances she performs, and the characters and stories she brings to life on stage.
Emma has been composing her story since she became passionate about the arts from a very young age, beginning piano and ballet at just three years old. Throughout high school, she has continued to develop her talents as a pianist, vocalist, dancer, and performer, sharing her gifts through numerous performances. Her creativity also shines through her artwork, reflecting her remarkable artistic ability and unique perspective.

Beyond her many talents, Emma is intelligent, funny, strong-willed, and determined. She approaches her goals with dedication and perseverance, never hesitating to work hard for the things she believes in. Her ability to combine creativity with determination is one of the many qualities that make her truly special.

Emma’s parents are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and of the young woman she has become. They are grateful to have had the privilege of watching her talents and character grow over the years, and they look forward with great anticipation to all that lies ahead. Most of all, they are excited to see where God leads her and the many ways He will use her gifts and talents in the years to come.
