There’s something special about capturing people doing what lights them up.

Whether it’s acro yoga, fitness, movement, dance, creativity, or simply showing up as themselves…my goal as a photographer is never just to take a photo, but to capture the energy, confidence, connection, and personality that make each person unique.

This acro yoga portrait session was a reminder that strength and trust can be just as beautiful as any traditional pose. The movement, balance, and genuine joy behind moments like these are what make creative portrait photography so rewarding.

Every session I photograph is different because every person I work with brings their own story, vibe, and presence into the frame. My job is to create images that feel authentic to who you are while blending artistic vision, creative lighting, and genuine human connection.

Some people walk into a room and command attention…while others change the energy without ever asking for it. Sofia is one of those people. ✨

I first met her through some local yoga and wellness events, and one of the things that immediately stood out to me was how genuinely invested she is in helping others with an emphasis on community over competition. It wasn’t from a place of ego or self-promotion, but rather, from a sincere desire to create spaces where people can slow down, breathe, heal, and reconnect with themselves.

There’s a softness to the way she moves and carries herself. She has a calming presence and quiet strength. You know…the kind of energy that reminds people it’s okay to pause for a moment.

Watching Sofia work with crystal singing bowls as she guides others through her restorative sound baths, it’s easy to see why people are drawn to her offerings and healing energy. She creates these serene experiences that feel grounding, relaxing, and deeply intentional.

As someone who spends a lot of time photographing people, I find myself drawn to those little moments where someone’s authentic self shines through. This was one of those moments that I was lucky enough to capture with just my iPhone.

I’m thankful to know so many people in our Cleveland health and wellness community who are using their gifts to make a positive impact on others. 🖤

Cleveland, thank you for showing up and rocking the house at Lakewood’s Mahall's in March.

As much as Taylor Lamborn (), Cowboy Princess Brigade, and Slow Groove Kings brought their soul, solid grooves, and positive energy...the crowd filled the venue with their good vibes and electric energy.

This was a great chance for me to show up and support some friends in a couple of the bands (and use my new lens to capture some moments for them).
