Not gonna lie. I love my clients so much. I am editing photos right now for Cleveland & Northeast Ohio Mobile Espresso Bar & Roastery and when I finished this photo, I teared up. I just look in their eyes and see their passion for their company, for their clients, and for using their business to serve and honor God. It’s inspiring. I can’t believe I get paid to create beautiful photos and help companies strategize ways to set themselves apart. Literal dream job.

If a client wants something in their brand shoot that doesn’t align with where their business is headed, I’m not afraid to gently push back and suggest a better option.

That’s what they’re hiring me for.

My job isn’t just to take the photos they ask for—it’s to create the photos they’ll actually need six months from now. Every image should support where the business is going and connect with the clients they want to attract.

For today’s Sunday Small Business Spotlight, I’m featuring Röchling, a manufacturer in Cleveland.

Röchling originally brought me in for a team photo shoot, but after seeing the behind-the-scenes images I took, they invited me back for a second shoot.

This time, we focused on capturing their team in action, creating detail images they could pair with text on their website, and—most importantly—photographing their manufacturing process while carefully avoiding proprietary areas. The result? They can now take prospective customers on a virtual tour without ever stepping into the facility.

I loved Mr Rogers growing up and this shoot reminded me of the tour of the crayon factory! It was such a joy to work with their team, and they’re the company I’m praying for this week. 🤍
