Hi it’s me! I’ve never done a “meet your photographer” post so here it is. I’m Katy, your bo***ir-loving photographer who also loves to model any fun cocnept & with my husband (see photos for reference hehe).
To my core, I love women. I love being a woman. I found my way into portrait photography during a time when I didn’t like myself all tha tmuch, nor what I saw in the mirror. So I set my camera up for some self portraits on a “good hair day”, & something just clicked.
I saw myself in those photos and it was so much mroe than just my face. It was my rawness in that moment of vulnerability; my softness, my sensuality, my strength for doing that for myself. I started to see myself again and that helped me rediscover self love through those moments.
And that lit a fire in me. Because there is something so unbelievably powerful about a woman being fully seen in your self-expression.
So, that’s why I do this!
I create space for women to be wild, expressive, sensual, soft, powerful—any and all of it.
A space where you can feel nervous, and blossom into your fullness through our session.
A space where you get to feel how magical it is to simply be a woman.
And getting to wcapture that and show you what I see through my lens?
It will never not feel like magic to me and that’s the most rewarding way to share my creativity that I can think of.
