I still have one Z9 body left. Check the list for a price.
Some have asked me why I am changing camera systems. I guess I am concerned that some may think I’m not happy with my Nikon gear. Nothing could be further from the truth. I love all of my Nikon gear. It hurts me to see it all go! Every time I touch my Z-9’s I want to cry, thinking that I won’t have them anymore! It’s a big step for me. I’m changing systems because of my health. As you may know, I just had shoulder replacement. I’m going to be 70 soon. My camera gear needs to get a little smaller as I get older!
FYI: I also still have the Nikkor 800\6.3 prime. It’s an awesome lens! For its size , it’s very light! The Z9 and that 800 are a perfect combination for wildlife!

I found this barred owl sitting in the road near my driveway in the middle of the day. I thought it may have been injured or hit by a vehicle, so I grabbed a few photos from a distance before walking over to check on it. Turns out it was just fine. As soon as I got closer, it took off and flew away like nothing happened.

Still not sure what it was doing sitting in the road in bright midday sun. Any guesses?
