So I've been working on a new line of posters and limited edition prints. They're more in the "Abstract Art" line. They do look great in the game room or office. I've showed a few proofs to people and they like the idea. Here is a very, very rough proof of my "Galaxy Golf" series. Any feedback is welcomed.

So I'm digging through some old CD's looking for a particular photo and ran across this. Photos that I had saved from Sept. 11, 2001. The local photos were taken by me and Paul Stephen. The others from various courageous photojournalists that were on scene documenting history. This is what we do. When disaster happens the passionate ones go to the scene while others are running for their lives. Not because we have to...but because we were born with an abstract gene or something. Unless you do, it I can't explain it.

While I was shooting HS football tonight I heard a scanner call that a woman had locked her keys in her car in Stonewood. Before any one could show up with a Slim Jim R-124 showed up and cut the roof off. Those guys are fast!
Response time.... 5 minutes
Retrieving the keys...10 minutes
Insurance bill for replacing the roof...PRICELESS!

Just another day in my life. If you have kids please tell them that driving on the Interstate is worse that the last lap at Talledega. At least they have helmets and roll cages.

I go to a wedding as an "Invited Guest".The "professional" photographer recognized me and immediately asks"Check my camera settings." Bad sign #1. I correct his settings then 20 questions later I said "I'll go ahead and shoot some also." I mean I like the couple so I figure they should at least have something to remember the wedding.

After reviewing a few "Event Photographer" web sites I think that some people just like to see their name plastered across the Internet. The term "Professional Photographer" has lost all its meaning for me :-[
