What to expect over the next few months ⬇️

🏝️ Out of Office 8/23 — 8/30

🌾 September — I have very limited evening availability remaining for a half or full session. If you want photos with the rich greens we still have, now is your chance before we head into fall & earlier sunsets!

🍂 October — I currently have three dates/two different locations that I am offering 20 minute mini sessions. If these dates don’t work for you, please message me and I’ll do my best to accommodate your requests.

🌲 November — I’m offering HOLIDAY MINIS this year at South Apple Studio in Georgetown on November 7th! To my loyal/past clients — I will be opening these up to you first, so please message me to book your spot! I will then share what is remaining soon.

Choose your venue not only because it may be your dream location — but also based on the possibility of your wedding day being completely washed out by the weather. You need to love both indoor & outdoor options offered.

One week ago, our entire photo timeline shifted due to the rain. With The Huhn’s choosing the beautiful , we were able to easily transition majority of the photographs inside without the stress of looking for a new location.

To any newly engaged couples who may be in the process of locking in their venue — always have a backup plan and make sure you love it. Your venue ultimately becomes your wedding gallery.

Accepting 5 more weddings before I’ll be closing my books for 2027

When searching for your wedding photographer, it is important to make sure you align and vibe together. For any couple that is currently in the planning process — ask questions to understand their approach, style, and what their eye is drawn to the most.

For me, I value a variety of aspects on a wedding day but here are my top 5.

1. Your experience as a couple — This is your one and only wedding day and I don’t take that lightly.

2. A relaxed, intentional timeline that allows for space to be present — I encourage my couples to live their wedding day out, not just exist.

3. Authentic moments over perfection — The most natural moments turn out perfect, just trust me.

4. Transparent, timely communication — The one vendor you are locked in with for typically one year at minimum, spending the entire day alongside, and still connected to after the wedding day is over is your photographer. The relationship matters.

5. Last but not least, TRUST — By trusting me, you’re letting go of pressure and giving yourself permission to be fully present.
