We build our moral foundations during childhood. That's why it's so important to provide a positive influence to our youth.

Lord’s Gym Ministries has been that positive influence for 26 years. We work with youth in the inner-city of the greater Cincinnati through the popular activity of cycling.

Cycling, just one of our activities, is part of our Youth Resiliency program in Price Hill. We want this program to build a sense of family and belonging while nurturing habits of responsibility and team work.

In the last year, more than 30 trail bikes were donated and rehabbed by some very generous volunteers.

Now we need an enclosed trailer to store and transport them. This will allow us to be mobile, efficient, and meet the youth where they are.

This is a heartbreaker of a story. Channel 9 WCPO went out with us, The Lord's Gym Street Outreach Ministry (STORM) this winter to see what we encounter on a regular basis. It's RAW and very real. Brandon Welch and Kim Zeigler Orlemann are featured from our team. Please share with your friends and your church. Chuck Peckham, of MCC, was instrumental in helping us get the bus years ago. The Lord's Gym's bus allows women working as prostitutes to get a meal, clothes and hygiene products. It also gives them a way to get off the streets and into treatment.
