because of my reach & follower count here on my business page, I would like to post this here in hopes that we can reach Target corporate. Mr. James was a long time employee of the Target store in our town, Pace FL. He loved what he did, he loved the people, but most importantly, he loved his Momma.
if you ever encountered this man, he talked about how much he loved taking care of his Momma & how she was simply the light of his world.
losing Mr. James unexpectedly has been a tragic loss for our community, but we can only imagine the hurt his family must be feeling. but especially his precious Momma.
he was her main caretaker. and he adored carrying that title.
although I have no doubt the love that Mr. James family undoubtedly shared with each other will carry through and take care of each other,
we’re praying and believing that Target can step in and ensure his Momma has the care she needs until the end of her time- it’s the least they can do with having an employee who devoted their life for 19 years of working with the same company.
if you can help get us to Target corporate and speak to the right people to give our entire community the comfort in knowing his Momma and his family will be taken care of after his loss, it would mean more than you know.
thank you ❤️ KFP
“Can you imagine..
someone around you is “just” a Target employee..
or at least that’s what someone is viewed as.
and then tragically, that Target employee passes, unexpectedly.
and when the community hears of this Target employee’s passing, there is nothing but positive, beautiful messages about this person. true heartbreak, loss, grief.
clearly, Mr. James Weeks was not just a Target employee to so many of us. He was the one who gave each and every kiddo more than one sticker (like.. 5 each realistically). He was 110% ALWAYS smiling and happy to see you. whether you are a new face or a familiar one.
he always giggled with me when I came up to the register saying things like “these kids” and he always happily told me he loves to take care of his “Mother” and their cats. And as soon as he mentioned cats, my girls immediately were locked in and wanted to know everything about those cats.
he wasn’t just one that when you asked for assistance he would point you in the direction of where to go, he physically would walk you to it and make sure you got what you needed and were taken care of.
I imagine this man always showed up to work on time. I don’t know that to be a fact, but he just seemed to love what he did so much that I can’t even imagine seeing him causing an inconvenience to ANYone by being late.
I heard through the grapevine that him and Mother loved Whataburger. something we all have in common with him.
his kind demeanor and his welcoming presence will be so missed.
I can’t imagine being this loved by a community, and this community only knowing me as “just a Target employee”..
that just shows you, you are so much more valuable than you realize. you are not defined just by your job or career, but you definitely can change the tone of someone’s day by working there.
Mr. James, I imagine you are in Heaven working the most Heavenly Target store we will ever be blessed to see. I know you were welcomed with the most warm hugs and I have no doubt there were a few cats waiting for you.
you will be so missed down here. Rest in the most precious peace, Mr. James ❤️”
