One last look at Donkey Ball! 🫏

There were laughs, a few unexpected tumbles, plenty of cheering, and memories that will probably be talked about around the dinner table for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, cheered, and helped make this year’s event one to remember. Until next year, Wausau!

What matters most?

Is it who wins King or Queen on Possum Day? Who is crowned the hog-calling champion? Or even who gives the loudest and best political speech?

At the end of the day, none of those things matter nearly as much as the people.

It’s the love you see when two spouses begin dancing and, for a moment, fall in love all over again.

It’s the children running around without a care in the world.

It’s the moment your cousin falls off the donkey during donkey ball, gets the wind knocked out of him—and years later, the whole family is still laughing about it around the dinner table.

In a world filled with digital noise, it’s easy to lose sight of what is real. These simple moments are often the ones we take for granted, yet they become the memories we hold closest to our hearts.

So, instead of continuing to doomscroll, stop for just a second. Look at the people around you. Hold them a little closer. Laugh a little louder. Dance like no one is watching.

And ask yourself:

Off My Frame will be there capturing photos, and there is a full lineup of entertainment planned!

Tonight:
👑 Hilarious King & Queen Contest at 6:00 p.m.
🎤 Talent Show at 7:00 p.m.
🎟️ Admission is $5, and ages 15 and younger get in FREE!
💰 Cash prizes and a 50/50 drawing!

Saturday, August 1:
🥞 5K and pancake breakfast
🛍️ 76 vendors with food and shopping
🎶 Award-winning Andy Griggs on stage
🕛 Possum auction at noon
🎟️ Free admission during the daytime!

Saturday night, Donkeyball kicks off with a $10 gate fee, while ages 15 and younger get in FREE!
